Fund Purpose & Application Requirements

The Nadine Whitlock Hayes Legacy Fund provides immediate, short-term financial relief to support breast cancer patients undergoing active treatment who are experiencing urgent, unforeseen financial hardships. Aid helps cover essential expenses such as housing, utilities, transportation, or groceries, alleviating financial stress so patients can focus on recovery. A secondary purpose is to cover the cost of recommended genetic testing.

All requests for assistance must be made through our online application and must include supporting documentation (e.g., confirmation of active treatment, utility bills, rent/mortgage statements). The Review Committee is committed to providing an answer regarding assistance within seven (7) business days of receiving a complete application.

About Nadine Whitlock Hayes

Nadine Whitlock Hayes left her earthly life in 2014, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. She lived an amazing life as a single mother raising 9 children after her husband died from Hodgkin’s disease. One daughter preceded her in death, also from breast cancer, and a son died from pancreatic cancer subsequent to her death. Her other 7 children, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins cherish memories of her nurturing and are grateful for the life lessonsNormally I can help with things like this, but I don't seem to have access to that content.
