Who we are

OUR MISSION

To eliminate breast cancer disparities for Black women through advocacy, education, research and empowerment.

OUR VISION

By empowering communities to take ownership of their health care and become strong advocates, we will help in the common goal to end breast cancer forever!

Our Roots

Pink-4-Ever & R.E.D. Alliance

In 2008, John Miller established Pink-4-Ever following the loss of his oldest sister and during the survivorship journey of his younger sister, Nadia Miller. The goal was urgent: create a movement within the minority community to dispel myths about breast cancer, especially through awareness and education outreach to faith-based institutions and to provide critical emergency financial assistance for women in treatment.

In 2015, the R.E.D. (Reaching to End Disparities) Alliance was formed to address the disproportionately high breast cancer death rate among Black women. Lisa Hayes and Nadia Miller, both dedicated advocates and survivors, played key roles in shaping the Alliance's work, which focused on training breast health advocates in local churches and building community-engaged partnerships for breast cancer research.

In 2021, Lisa and Nadia’s shared experiences as fierce advocates and service-minded survivors, led them to bring these two powerful initiatives together, forming Pink-4-Ever Ending Disparities and creating a united front in the fight against breast cancer disparities.
